The Temple of Dawn - Wat Arun

The tour starts with a visit to the stunning Wat Arun, meaning Temple of Dawn, a place no travel in Thailand should leave out. Guests will be shown what they should to when visiting a temple including how to 'Wai Pra' (pay respect to the Buddha) and how to get their fortune read by the fortune sticks. Guests will also be able to climb to the top of the Wat for a great view of Bangkok.

Orientation on Thai Culture Cruise

Thai culture is unique in South East Asia as it is the only country which has never bee colonized by a Western country. This makes the spiritual culture a highlight for many people who travel Thailand. There are however, a few cultural rules which all travellers should know before venturing off the beaten track. While on a tour of the Bangkok Canals, guests will be told everything they need to know about Thai culture, including some basic language for greetings and asking for things, along with some phrases for shopping at the market and some techniques in the essential skill of bargaining.

Thai Banquet Lunch

Along with the culture, Thai food is now world famous, and there is no place better to eat than on your Thailand travels. Thai food is usually eaten banquet style with many dishes placed in the middle of the table. We introduce you to some popular Thai dishes at a restaurant overlooking the Chao Phraya river, naturally all served in the Thai style!
